I will publish my Assassin’s Creed Origins walkthrough for this new release.
In Assassin’s Creed Origins, you play as Bayek, a Medjay (a member of a group of Egyptian guards) who fights to liberate ancient Egypt from the occupying Ptolemaic forces, after the first dynasty in 28 BC had passed away. Their rule had them destroy the temples and monuments, but Bayek and his friends don’t waste any time: they fight for the people and for their gods.
I hope you’ve all enjoyed the first of many Assassin’s Creed Origins walkthroughs. If you want to learn more about the game, you can read my review of it. However, I’ll try to keep this intro as spoiler-free as possible, so if you don’t want to know too much about it, then please skip it altogether.
Hungry River is a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Origins in Kanopos Nome.
They have to help carry some bodies to the wagon, because there are wild hippos present.

Hungry River Summary
1. Bring the bodies to the car
2. Talk to the farmer
3. Find and store Meketre
4. Protection of Meketra
5. Talk to Meketar.
6. Defeat all bandits in the village of Meketre
Conversation with a farmer
To begin the quest, talk to the farmer at the location below. It’s in Kanopos Nome.

Put the dead man on the cart
The man will tell you that there are many hippos here, and that they are dangerous. You have to help them get the bodies back to the car.
There are four bodies, as shown below.
Carry the bodies one by one and bring them to the cart.
Put the body next to the car.
In total you will encounter about three hippos on the bodies.
It’s easier if you kill them first.
Once the area is cleared, collect more bodies.
Conversation with a farmer
Talk to the farmer after you finish the job. He’ll tell you about Meketra, who disappeared. He is like a warrior of this village.
Search and store Meketra
Meketr was taken by bandits. You can find it at the location indicated below.
If you’re nearby, use Senu to pinpoint his exact position. They find him in a cage in Potamos’ den.
Kill all the bandits first. You can get high and kill them with your arrows.
When the area is clear, release Meketre.
Meketra Protect
Then he’ll run away. Show him the way out.
Conversation with Meketr
He stops running as soon as he approaches a horse. Talk to him.
He will tell you that his village was attacked by bandits.
Kill all bandits in Meketra village
Now go to his village at the place indicated on the map below.
There will be many bandits here. Get them all out of the way.
When the bandits are dead, talk to Meketr again.
You’ll find it in the village itself.
The search ends here.

Call it a reboot if you want, but Assassin’s Creed Origins is not a mere remake. The game’s setting is the Ancient World, Egypt, around the 16th century BCE. As opposed to the monolithic, pre-planned cities of previous games, Origins features a variety of open-world environments, including deserts, forests, and mountains. As you would expect, these environments make for a great playground to explore and fight in, as you attempt to unravel the mysteries of the game’s new world..
