 | October 20, 2008: PUERTO CASTILLIA, Honduras (Sept., 21 2008) -- Sailors from USS Kauffman pass out candy to the children of the "Centro de Educacion Basic" (Center for Basic Education) during a community relations (COMREL) project in Puerto Castillia, Honduras. The COMREL was conducted in support of Partnership of the Americas 2008, a U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) sponsored operation designed to strengthen regional partnerships and improve multi-national interoperability, while enhancing the operational readiness of all assigned units.
